Extended Stay Support
As already in 2024, we encourage participants of STACS 2025 to combine their conference trip with a research visit to a nearby research institution under the Extended Stay Support initiative. This initiative aims to enhance scientific collaborations while at the same time diminishing the carbon footprint of scientific research activities.
The following colleagues and institutions have agreed to participate:
- Carsten Lutz (University of Leipzig)
- Andreas Maletti (University of Leipzig)
- Dietrich Kuske (TU Ilmenau)
- Christoph Berkholz (TU Ilmenau)
- Dominik Scheder (TU Chemnitz)
- Manuel Bodirsky (TU Dresden)
- Lutz Schröder (FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg)
- Isolde Adler (University of Bamberg)
- Florin Manea (University of Göttingen)
- Thomas Schwentick (TU Dortmund)
- Jean Christoph Jung (TU Dortmund)
- Joachim Giesen (University of Jena)
- Christian Komusiewicz (University of Jena)
- Olaf Beyersdorff (University of Jena)
If you are interested to combine your trip to STACS in Jena with a research visit to one of the places above, please do get in touch directly with the relevant contact person and make individual arrangements for the visit.
